OFFICE MANAGER

LICENSED VETERINARY TECHNICIAN

Susan

As Office manager, Susan oversees all daily operations to help ensure that all the pets we see are treated as if they are one of our own. A routine exam and preventative testing can be very scary and stressful to your pet. She makes sure our team of professionals is trained to be caring, loving and calming to help ensure that your pet will feel as stress free as possible. She is the friendly face who will come give your pet some love as she passes through the lobby. Susan is always available to speak to our clientele about any questions or concerns they may have regarding their pet or visit.

As head technician, she not only oversees every patient's care but is directly involved in the daily care and monitoring of our hospitalized and surgical patients. Animals are her passion in life. She has been working in the veterinary field for 11 years and couldn’t think of a better career choice. She received her Bachelors degree in Veterinary Technology from Mercy College and is licensed to practice in NYS.

Susan understands first hand how scary it can be to have a sick pet and will do her best to help ease anyone through such a difficult time.

She lends a helping hand to the local animal shelters when they are in need of extra assistance. Through tireless work and sleepless nights, Susan recently opened the doors to her own non-profit animal adoption organization called Blissful Strays. She works primarily with felines, but has adopted out many other species over the years. Every animal adopted out has been a stray, neglected or abused pet. You may also see her caring for a wild critter on occasion. She is also a licensed NYS Wildlife Rehabilitator and has a non-profit organization dedicated to their welfare as well. Over the years she has adopted or rescued many pets of different species and understands the amazing human-animal bond. She enjoys helping create this bond for others.
